Background
Matthew earned his J.D. from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College and his Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Summa Cum Laude, from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Co. Matthew also served in the US Army. After a career with Boeing and Alaska Airlines, Matthew decided to follow his passion and became an attorney. He currently is a member of the Oregon State Bar Board of Governors. He formerly sat on the boards of the Oregon State Bar Association’s Disciplinary Board, Washington County Bar Association, and the Washington County Law Library Advisory Committee. He previously served on the Unlawful Practice of Law Committee of the Oregon State Bar, The Tualatin Hills Park District’s Parks Bond Citizen Oversight Committee, and has done pro bono work for the Senior Law Project and the St. Andrews Legal Clinic.
Personal
Matthew and his wife have two grown sons and have lived in Washington County for many years. They like to spend time with family and friends and enjoy the Northwest’s great outdoors whenever possible.
